August Women is a new networking group in Lagos, Nigeria for working women. The goal is to create an avenue for business women to talk about issues they have relating to work and hopefully, find solutions to such problems. August Women provides networking opportunities in an informal environment and is particularly useful for women who run small businesses. It is also hoped that August Women will increase the number of women who can be mentors or role models for women and girls in Nigeria.
